# Understanding Listing Statuses

> Learn what the Not Started, Retry, and Completed listing statuses mean in ListAgent and what actions you need to take.

# Understanding Listing Statuses

ListAgent uses listing statuses to help you understand the current state of your listings. You can see the status of each listing from the listings area.

There are three listing statuses in ListAgent:

| Status | What it means |
| - | - |
| Not Started | The listing has not started the generation process yet. |
| Retry | The listing needs to be generated again because the previous generation attempt did not complete successfully. |
| Completed | The listing generation has completed successfully. |

## Not Started

A listing with the Not Started status has not entered the listing generation process yet. If you see this status, check the available listing information and start the generation process when you are ready.

## Retry

The Retry status indicates that the listing needs another generation attempt. If a listing shows Retry, select the available retry action and allow the generation process to run again.

If the listing continues to show Retry after another attempt, check the error information if available and contact ListAgent support if you need further assistance.

## Completed

The Completed status means that listing generation has finished. After a listing reaches Completed, review the generated information before publishing it.

Check important information such as:

* Title
* Item specifics
* Description
* Product information
* Pricing, if available

Make sure the generated information accurately represents your product.

## Quick Reference

| Status | What you should do |
| - | - |
| Not Started | Start the listing generation process. |
| Retry | Retry the listing generation. |
| Completed | Review the generated listing before continuing. |

> **Tip:** A completed generation does not mean that you should publish the listing without reviewing it. Always verify the generated information first.
